- The Lock now uses a new utility that is available free from Microsoft.
-
- HTML Help makes help documentation easier to create and easier to use.
-
- In order to take advantage of HTML Help, you will need to install two
- pieces of software.
-
- 1. Internet Explorer 3.02 or greater must be installed on the system for
- HTML Help documentation to operate. You may use whatever internet
- browser you would like for browsing web pages on the internet, but you
- will also need to have IE 3.02 or later installed on the system.
- Internet Explorer is available from the Microsoft home page on-line at
- http://www.microsoft.com. Select the All Products tab from the top
- of the Microsoft web page, then select Downloads.
-
- 2. HTML Help version 1.2 must be installed on the system. This is normally
- installed with The Lock. If it needs to be installed again, the install
- is available from:
- ftp://ftp.globalnet.co.uk/pub/simtelnet/cnet/win95/utilities/hhupd.exe
- or
- http://www.crashcoursesoftware.com/files/hhupd.exe
-
- Once both requirements are met, HTML Help will operate normally.
-
-
- Adobe Acrobat option
- The Lock documentation is also available as an HTML Help conversion to
-
- Adobe Acrobat format (PDF). This file is available from:
-
- http://www.crashcoursesoftware.com/files/lock-pdf.zip
-
- and will require adobe acrobat 3 or later. Acrobat reader is available from
-
- ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatreader/win/3.x/ar302.exe
-
